1JZ Power Steering Problem Bizzare

Hello,
After the conversion, and reading up on the 1JZ hydraulic fan and on the basics of the 1JZ. I noticed that my power steering was being routed from the power steering pump on the right hand side of the engine, to the water pump hydraulic inlet and outlet and then somehow through the reservoir and into the steering rack. Is this strange to you? How is this even working? The steering isn't as good as it used to be, but it is ok, however the reservoir overflows all the time, even with a new rubber o-ring in it. Here is a picture of the system, i left out a return hose to the power steering pump, but you can get the jist of it.

Any ideas? I just wanted to put in a 2JZ water pump as it's making alot of bearing noise at the moment and it would be good to get rid of the hydraulic setup!
I was going to add another reservoir for the power steering on the right hand side near the power steering pump anyway.
Alex.

Umm that is just bizzare.. Just run a loop back to the Visous Fan reservoir from the water pump.. the Power Steering fuild shouldn't be running though the Viscous fan pump.

Heh your telling me! However, there is no fan reservoir as im running electric fans. So should i just locate a proper 1JZ power steering reservoir, move it over the the right, patch it in somehow and loop the water pump lines? I wonder how much damage this is causing! But wouldnt power steering fluid be getting into the water? Doesn't seem like it is.
This is my engine bay.

Also, can anyone tell what model car, and year this enigne is from? Note the 90 degree pipe from the turbo's to the rubber pipe that goes into another 90 degree bend down to the cooler, and Traction Control. Most pipes from the turbos come off more straighter.

Is it just a fluid cooler that someone's messed up on the plumbing of, and is in fact heating the fluid and causing it to overflow, just like a Commodore or Falcon, neither of which HAVE a cooler, hence leak fluid with monotonous regularity... If that is the case, GET RID of it, and stick a proper cooler at the front of the car!

That pipe that loops around IS a cooler - it's not much, but it's enough to stop the things from consistantly leaving oil stains on the driveway (a la commodore). You can actually BUY a power steering oil cooler from auto parts shops, you can use an old (smallish) oil cooler, or even just loop a few layers of pipe around the front of the rad. Just make sure you do SOMETHING!

Another thing, how do you get rid of the black stains in the engine bay?
