I have recently purchased a TA22 with a 2TGUE, it has twin webers 40DCOE that are stuffed. What options are available for this motor.
Any information greatly appreciated.

or rebuild the webers. Kits are pretty cheap...
you could always convert it back to EFI

What is the EFI standard on?
How much roughly cost wise to fit?
Where in Sydney would I be able to find it?
thanks

efi is standard on a 2tgue, that's what the e in the engine code stands for.
so either your engine has been converted to carbs from efi at some point or it may actually be a 2tg

No doubt the engine has been modified and came out of something else. 2TGUE is on the front of the head, so I would assume it is.
What Toyota models came fitted with this engine so that i can narrow my search for parts.
Thanks
Mick
