I do not think he will strip a perfectly good motor and sell %80 of it for a $1000.
the ad states no computer and wiring harness is cut.
also it was a auto i.e no flywheel or clutch. has got flex plate.

where can you get a supra twin turbo 93-98 half cut for $4500.
i assume you mean complete with harness computer and gearbox intercooler, brakes etc.
i would be interested in one at this price. or maybe 2 or 3.
can you provide a phone number with these magical half cuts at this price.

ok i was going to be polite but i can see you are being a smart arse to the other guys
2jzgte half cuts are available for $5000.
i was offered a 2jzgte with six speed box and computer for $6000 2 years ago when i did my conversion.
$1000 for a bare motor is fair market price, this is what the wreckers will do one for in my local area. though they dont have any on hand for a few months, i thought i would ask as some people will seperate. $4500 for an auto box, motor and cut loom no computer, if he can sell that for that price he is a better sales person than anyone else i know, good luck to you and you friend on his hope full sale.

There is no auto box, it WAS an auto. It's just the engine.

if you do not want to buy it DON"T
for the record my mate must be a good sales man.
these are true facts call him
approx 2 years ago he sold a complete un damaged front cut
c/w 6 speed large intercooler etc for $20,000 to a guy in Melb.
late last year he had 2 orders for complete engines and 6 spd
for $15000 to go into late model lexus. but he was unable to fill the orders in time.
please provide ph numbers of these cheap engines.
most places will quote low prices if they do not have them in stock.
it is good for bussiness.

No offense to you mate, but his clients must be dumbasses. Norbie paid $2900 for his 2JZGTE front cut, most seem to go for the $4-5k mark (these are front cuts).
Mate bought a late-model vvti 2JZGTE with full loom and a V161 Getrag 6-speed from Rolin. $6k. Nuff said, theres one example, there are plenty more...
