Ok, I am doing a 1/2 hour radio package with a team of folk for 2SER to be broadcast later this year.
It is on like the street-racing culture and stuff like that. Still in development, but I need to know what it is called when the full-sick dudes lower their utes with air suspension and how you pump it up and stuff.
Who knows stuff on this? Any cool sites? What is it called? 'cause it isn't 'hydraulics', 'cause it is air. hmm

yep.. air bags... or "bags" for short.
There is a club in sydney called "Drop Zone" which is specifically for "low rider" utes and the like.

there aren't any formally written laws concerning hydraulics... yet. so at the moment, its kinda whatever the engineer thinks, but at the same time, there still maybe trouble with cops (u know the usual story...). so its sorta up in the air, and engineers prolly dont wanna mess with the issue.
i don't think ppl in australia are doing it for street use yet.
thats what i read somewhere anyway... don't take my word for it!

Heavy vehciles have been using aig bags here for years now! Also know as hydraulics: systems using a fluid under pressure to do work) Specfically, they are allowed in commericals where extra loading capacity is needed or leveling for towing (4WDs), but engineering is required, in normal passager cars, there are no specific law, but I'd have to say, engineering would also be required.
