need a new daily driver as i sold my soarer. needs to be cheap and reliable. looked in the trading post and found an 84 sprinter stock with a 5spd and mags for $2500 or an 85 cressida iwth a 5m i presume, auto. $1500. Just for getting to work, no mods as i already have a crazy car! what do you reckon?

They're both very different cars, so it depends on your needs more than anything.
Sprinter: small, fuel efficient, 2 doors. Not very practical but cheap to run.
Cressida: quite a bit bigger, will use a lot more fuel, 4 doors and a decent size boot. Far more practical but will cost more to run.
As for auto vs manual, I'd go auto for a true daily driver however that's personal preference more than anything. You decide!

yeah, well I was also contemplating a motorbike at one stage so space really isn't an issue as all i will take is my uni books and some clothes sometimes. Will give the sprinter a look i think. And actually, the cressy is very similar to my soarer so it wouldn't be much of a change Anyway, i will keep looking.
thanks
