Hi mate, is it 3 or 4 speed?? If i keep blowing gearboxes i am considering swapping to auto manualised and shift kitted. I have a TA22 2T auto box , do you know ho much they differ?? Is it complete with shifter, crossmember, torque converter, flexplate etc?? If it is complete and in good nick im interested at the right price. I dont know a thing about the 3TGTEU auto so any info people have would be appreciated (ratio's, strength etc)
Jamie.

Howdy, not sure if its 3 or 4. I'm hoping someone can help clear this up?
I'd assume the 3t-gte auto box is newer and stronger than the 2t one. It came out of a TA63 jap import Celica.
It is complete(flex plate, torque converter, shifter) apart from the crossmember. I used this fitting my W55 into the RA28.
I don't know much about it either. Maybe someone out there can help.
It is selling for a good price...

I had a look on the invoice I got when I purchased the engine from a Jap import company. On the info they have taken from the plates it says the gearbox is a 4M. Which is 4spd.
Realised though that the actual gear shifter is missing. The shaft comes off the gearbox and I have the surrounds for the center console but not the shifting piece.
Missing xmember but do have the rubber mount.
