The 6A is a capacitive discharge multiple sparking ignition. It will increase overall performance in any type of vehicle. Multiple sparks ensure complete combustion of the air/fuel mixture.

* Improves power
* Quickens throttle response
* Smooths out idle and starting.
* Reduces spark plug fouling.
* Improves mileage

SPECS:
- All sparks, including each multiple spark, is 110 milliJoules of spark energy.
- Steps up the primary voltage to 470 volts.
- Spark series lasts for 20° of crankshaft rotation.
- Operates at full power with a supply of 10 - 18 volts and will run down to 5 volts.
- Cast aluminum housing and Humi-Seal coated circuits protect the electronics.
- Can be triggered using points, electronic ignitions or magnetic pickups.

would this fit on a 3T-GTE? also does this setup eliminate the need for the distributor? i.e. Crank angle sensor etc

Im not sure about whether it will fit your engine - check with your local MSD agent - they will know for sure!

Re the distributor no this will not eliminate it.

Sorry mate, I checked and found that I won't need to upgrade my ingnition sysyem yet. If I was at the end of my project and had the spare cash then maybe.
