I am just about to install a new CD head unit and stacker in my 5th gen celica.
How difficult should it be to get the new head unit in? will i need to open up the console or anything?

well if u don't want to try and just yank the old deck out without disconnecting it, no. But if u want to do it properly then yes u will need to be able to get to the back of the deck.
Yeah you will prbly have to remove a few of the plastic panels and knobs etc from around the stereo area to install the new one / hook up the wires. Good luck with it!
