hey i have a 2tg and i need a thermostat what sort do i get the dont have 2tg in the book at supercheap will the 2t one suit thanks for your help.

not exactly... i installed a stock 2T thermostat, not sure on the brand, but it was definately for a TA22/RA23/28 1600cc engine, dropped it in and my temp gauge always sat above 180F, never got over the next marker which i think is 210F but still ran too hot Embarassed . Found out on the weekend the recommended thermostat for a 2T is a 195F one, so i ditched that and replaced it with the same size but one that opened at 180F, i think its for a 3K/4K corolla, anyhow temperature sits dead on 180F now, definately worth the hassle for summer me thinks Very Happy .

EDIT: and I bought both thermostats from supercheap auto.
