I currently own a 92 SX celica and would like to upgrade to a group A. Would prefer red (same as mine) but will consider others. Must be in good condition and regularly serviced.

Sorry CeLiCa, but I'm after an original with as few a mods as possible. Maybe Toymods is the wrong place to look but you never know. Some mods are ok but it has to be legal, and not too noisy. I like to hear my stereo which i'll be spending so much money on...again
Anybody have any suggestions where i can find what i'm looking for? I've tried the car yards in Brisbane, newspapers, unique cars magazine, drive.com.au, carpoint.com.au, and of course google.
CeLiCa I have seen your "panda" on the site and you've put a lot of time and money into it. And personally if i had the money i wouldn't mind a Z3 or even better a Z4! Of course there would still be a celica parked in my carhole.

Well the car isn't exactly for sale yet im going to completely change the suspension and make it run a 13 before it gets sold
On the topic of a GRP A GT4... try your best to find one because they are so much easier to mod than a regular GT4. The stock intercooler is good to 25psi and the ECU has fuel maps to 17 psi which is good. The gearbox is better and they also look so much tougher than the normal GT4's.

Hawk,
I found mine on carpoint, but i did spend six months looking, tradingpost online is pretty good (www.tradingpost.com.au). It is worth the extra wait if it is what you really want...they are also getting pretty rare, I would be suprised if more than 50 are going round...

I have number 116.
Front - 4" Focal polyglass splits, with the tweeters mounted in the kickpanels. (sound better than alpines anyways, and distortion comes well after bleeding ears level)
Rear - Get some decent 6" speakers, i have a pair of bostons, don't forget that the 2 rear speaker pods are amplified, only 30 watts each, but makes for decent rear fill from head unit spk outs.
Boot - just a 10 inch pioneer in a custom fibreglass box which sits in the rear-left of the boot (I have people ask me if this car came stock with a sub). I listen to mostly rock, so a sloppy sub is acceptable, but you might want to go for something a bit tighter if you listen to almost anything else!
Then throw in an amp of your selection, and headunit (+stacker) and your laughing.
BTW I am no audiophile, but this set up is pretty sweet, and it rates as acceptable to my audiophile mate - who speant more on his amp than i did on the whole system (about$4k).

Squid - can you PM me also - re your sound system - I was thinking about getting 6.5 inch focal splits in the front of my car - but making pods for the speakers is turning into a F-ing nightmare !
Any hints / tips / ideas you have - please message me !
