my 4ac is running really rich and i was gonna lean it out tonight, i was wondering what the easiest way to go about this??

The first step is to determine WHY your engine is running rich. The second step is to fix the problem(s). If you don't know how to do this, take your car to a mechanic. Blindly screwing around with fuel mixtures is likely to end in tears.

and SECONDLY

you cannot addjust fuel mixturs on the 4ac carbys for anything more then idle

so i suggest you have a problem else where... it starts with a 4 and ends in a C

do you know it is running rich? if so, im going to go out on a limb here and suggest you check that your automatic choke is working.

there is nothing wrong with the 4AC, it does what it was designed for very well, which is going slow and not using much fuel.
