5r-18r hilux conversion

I have a riend who has an old (no idea what year) hilux that originally had an 18r. he's managed to blow the head on the engine and took it to a wrecker to get an 18r swap but the wrecker says it's been swapped to a 5r and needs new mounts and a host of other stuff to swap back to the 18r.
Any ideas what he needs? I have a whole heap of 18r stuff thanks to celica conversions but I don't know what he needs.
Tim.

Because it a r series engine i wouldnt have thought that it would have been to difficult. Not knowing anything about these engines i guess you would just have the normal things to change like transmission and exhaust and things like that.
One question- how similar are these engines on the outside to a 18r

Which 5R? 3 mains or 5 mains bottom end? It will make some difference.

The 3 mains 5R engine block has a 'cowl' at the back protruding beyond the flywheel (like on the R, 2R, 3R, 4R and 12R). The 5 mains one does not and resembles the 18R style block.
