a lot of my friends have silvias and you can really tell that they were a cheaper car. The interior is very cheap looking etc. The CA18 is pretty crappy in standard form and is not that easy to get power out of IMO. (from my mates cars) The sr20 is easier to get power out of, but I absolutely HATE the sound of them! also IMO Silvias are good drifters though and ca be made to handle pretty well also. Still a cheap car though and they aren't real new either so the bad points start to show now.
Oh yeah, and when they no kits or anything they are ugly as all hell!

First of all, who really cares? They are a silvia forum, they bag toyota's, we are a toyota forum, we bag anything not toyota.
The reason? People like what they like and go to the appropriate places.
You wern't GT4PLAY there were you? I hope not. Nothing more sad than someone going into a forum to flame and "defend" their car to someone who means nothing to them. Just like that honda dude somewhere around here.......
As for silvia's, my thoughts are:
1. It's a girl's name. But then again, the sillicar is a chicks car. You all know the truth, no point in trying to deny it. I don't deny the fact that my car is a shopping trolly.
2. IMO, it's just a poor mans skyline.

nahh gt4play wasnt me
I just found it interesting them trying to compare a Gt4 - to a silvia - they are two toally different cars !
Sorta like comparing a Commodore to a WRX - there is no comparison

That reminds me.
Speaking of two door granny drivers, I saw an old granny peel off out of woolies a couple of weeks ago in a turbo exa.

I challenge any Sylvia!
Well, on second thought...
I challenge any Sylvia to a 'whose car is better looking for less $$$' off.

haha sounds silly, I like Toyotas more, but stil like Nissans.
I have never really liked Celicas, and luved Silvias.
To me Silvias are weighted well and not to heavy and can pack a heavy punch tuning the standard engine or you can squash a gtr engine in.....
Come on cant completely diss em, considerin so many put Nissan engines in 86's.
And I just personally have never liked the look of any Celica released, but luv da 3sge....
