More space and if i cannot get rid of the booster totally the smaller the better. I have driven cars with and without and the brakes feel better without.

quick question.
If you are in the situation where you don't really need the extra space provided by the smaller booster, would it still be viable to use the ST205R master cylinder (or similar 1" bore cylinder) as a simple upgrade for better pedal feel and more clamping force?

I have found another candidate from a ta22. the bolt patterns are exactly the same and it is inly just wider than the master cylinder bolt spacing.
I dont think i need to muck around with pedal box either. Ill check tonight.

I looked at the ta22 booster as an option but decided I wouldnt bother taking the risk and having to get it rebuilt later on because of the age and opted for something newer, but it should work fine as well.

I can get it rebuilt no worries and cheaply. I will have to lengthen the studs or something they are just poking throught the holes. I was going to split it and take out the old studs then get it rebuilt. Should work ok

seriously if youre going to have to go to all that effort to get it in you should really consider the set up i have.. ive been doing some fine tuning this week and it is very nice actually better than what I first thought, if youre in sydney feel free to come and have a try
