AE86 + 4AGE = Where to insure? Sun, 31 August 2003 14:09 Go to next message
Hey Ppls,

Just wondering where people are insuring there 4age'd ae86's ? RACV dont want to have a bar of it unless its a jap import.

I was quoted $950 from Just cars but thats pretty steep in my opinion... Well compared to $650 for the 4ac and racv.

u cant really expect to compare a ge sprinter to a stockers sprinter in insurance premos,
however that does sound a little large for just cars?
how old are you out of curiosity.. and compo insurance right..

Yeah I know there is a difference, but I doubt there would be $300 odd difference between a 4ac ae82 and a 4age ae82.

Im 21, rating 2 or 3 and its for full compo insurance.

Try Shannons. We have a thread running on this topic over in the South Australia section.

Shannons will cover the mods so long as they are road legal.

Worth asking any way.

Craig.

Ive been quoted by GIO, $1500 and i still had the receipt stating that i paid $850(4ac) for the car only 2 days before.

Insurance companies are the biggest theives, their prickes.

Id rather save the money i spend on insurance and buy a really big dog.

Ok so a Big Dog would take care of most theives...

Possibly be able to piss on a fire...

Perhaps it could also do the panel beating on your car in the event of an accident Wink
