Engineering Certificates for 15y/o imports in VICTORIA Sun, 31 August 2003 22:33 Go to next message
Hi
If anyone requires an engineers report for a 15y/o import in Victoria get in touch.
If you do the mods yourself then the cost of the report is $450 (providing all the work as been done properly).
If we undertake to do all the work it costs from $900 upwards, depending on whether the car requires side intrusion bars etc.

Question, how do you add side intrusion beams to a car?

By removing the interior door trim and welding them onto the inside of the door-skin. (AFAIK).

Thats why you need someone with experience to weld them in.
