ello all.
my mates thinking of importing a few of these and i was wondering what info u guy have on them. they have the 1g engine if i recal.is this engine worth modding? what diffrences do they have to the ma70? (appart from the engine..

The GA70 is the povo version of the Mk3 Supra. In standard form they're about as fast as the non-turbo MA70, ie not fast at all. Sure you can modify the 1G, but why would you bother when you can just get an MA71 or JZA70 to begin with?

If you want a nice cruiser that looks cool, then they are a cool car. If you're after an all-out performance machine, you're probably better off looking for either the JZA70 or maybe the MA70.
Mates GZ20 is probably a good comparison although his is automatic. Its capable of reeling off a 0-100 in the 8-9 second bracket with a good launch. A manual one should be a bit quicker. Not super quick by any standards, but quick enough to cruise around in
