F series Diff with 4x114.3 pattern? Mon, 01 September 2003 23:33 Go to next message
Toyota F series Diff with 4x114.3 stud pattern?

Is there such a beast? And if so what car did they come on?

About to get started on upgrading my KE70 project car and I have a set of rims with 4 x 114.3 stud pattern that would be perfect for it.

Thanks

-Nick

Well... I bought the tyres and then decided I wanted a different engine...

Which means a new diff...

The wheels themselves are 8" wide on the rear (perrrfect) and I have decided to keep them... If I can find an F series Diff with the right stud pattern then all is well.

I think the F303 diff is what I am looking for... (7.5") but im trying to work out if it has IRS (will make the conversion a bit harder) and stud pattern...

Hopefully the RA65 came with a F303 AND 4 x 114.3

If it did, then my worst problem is IRS and disc brakes if standard was a drum

ack, more research

thanks

Last time I checked, the MS110 and MS123? crowns had F series diffs with discs, but I should probably chase up if they had 4 x 114.3 I guess...

You do know it is possible to get a place who specialises in diffs and the like (some1 who knows what they are doing) they can actually restud your hubs to suit your application.

I have 8" diff, that has had 5x114,3mm pattern. Previous owner had it changed to 4x114,3mm. Just some extra holes drilled and bolts moved about does the job.
