Dude we had 8 or more people in there before and its only just opened and it doesnt really matter how many people its what we talk about.
Would like a ninemsn chat to but not all people have .NET passports eg. hotmail, ninemsn, msn.
So you tell me what we can do!!!

If the people can't be bothered to take less than a second to click on the "Chat" link, they're not going to spend (way more than) two minutes setting up an MSN account and MSN Messenger.

Not everyone is able to use MSN for one reason or another (I don't use mac/windows, so it gets ruled out pretty quick).
IRC is much nicer anyway IMHO.
Keeping an IRC channel open isn't exactly a big deal though, so why not give those of us who can't or won't use MSN somewhere else to go.

I guess some people just like to interact with others in real time. There is no reason you can't use both in a complimentary fashion.
IRC tends to promote actually getting to know other toymods members in a more natural way than the forums do.
Being able to communicate with others in real time also allows people to bounce ideas around in a way which would take a long time on forums, but can be done quickly on IRC.

Its good to have a IRC chan
not many ppl have to be in there but its good cos u can go in there anytime....u can try both forums and IRC chan to have ur queries answered.
Now, we can cover all forms of internet communication...unless we start having video conferences or something...hehehe

forum is still good but nice to have instant msg's
