Best place for a GZE cut ? Wed, 03 September 2003 09:16 Go to next message
After a frontcut with a 4AGZE... the 165hp type (MAP sensor type i think).

I will ask SSS Automotive but I think they only have the AFM version (145hp?)

Thanks ppl !

sss are a rip off.. they'll qoute you bits and peices. engine + loom could cost 1.5k + ecu another 200.. or they can make it sound cheap and sell you a deal for around 2k. driveshafts, mounts etc

Hmm ok thanks for that...but hopefully I wont have to go that road and can just get a frontcut ?

Doesnt seem like to many other places that can get the frontcut or I would be satisfied with like you said

Engine, loom, ECU, and driveshafts if it was for the same price as a frontcut.

it might be better.. it depends for someone that wants the parts right it it would be ideal.

but if your doing a carby to efi. might aswell go front cut. why? all the sensors and houses would most likely be there. with the parts package.. its only the main things. others you will need to source

Ribbo do you know who this guy is ?

Has to be MAP sensored GZE, no point putting so much effort into a conversion and being dissapointed lacking 20 odd hp or so.

just be careful when u buy cheap shit

half the time they dont supply u with some of the electronics

the reason engines are so cheap is they expect u to fit an
aftermarket ecu to it

and make sure they have the full loom and parts there so u can see it
