Autobox Shop in Perth: recommendations? Fri, 05 September 2003 02:35 Go to next message

OK, I am getting ahead of myself here - I haven't got the box into the car yet. Or driven it. But ...

I'm thinking of uping th stall speed by 500rpm with a worked torque converter to get a few more revs and make the most of the boost. Then, maybe look at manual valve bodies. I'm hooking up a Craig Davies tranny cooler soon.

Everyone over East is raving about the work done by MV autos.

Can anyone recommed an auto specialist in Perth to work on A34 series Yota boxes? I'm guessing most are going to be more used to trimatics and such.

Cheers,

Justin

yep, they're excellent, but not cheap! Don't bother going there if you're chasing price over performance!

Sounds great. Don't s'pose either of you have a contact number or address for them?

As for price, I've got a fair idea of what other's in the East have paid. And I'll choose performance over price any day. Even if it means waiting to save my pennys. Smile

Thanks,

Justin

They're in both the Yellow and White Pages, so let your fingers do the walking!
