I have a 1987 SV21 camry sedan, it has the injected two litre engine. I currently have opened up the airbox and put a K&N filter in it, Extractors and a 2 inch exhaust. It is also lowered with 15inch mags, a have removed all the bump strips and badges and a few interior goodies (the interior is blue and grey) Does anyone know how much power the SV21 will make? Should i get my cams ground next or have i got about as much as i can get out of my car? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thankyou
chris

ok it sounds like we've done the same things 2 our SV21's..... 2" all the way back high flow muff and K&N element filter.

After i put a 2" cat-back on the Kws jumped from 60 at the wheels to 66. 10% from just a cat-back! Anyway it goes soooo much harder now with the full zorst, but i have yet to dyno it. i'm going with a group of friends on the 28th of this month for a dyno day. i cant remember where right now but i'll ring my mate and find out. it's $45 for 2-3 power-runs.

hope that helps.

PS if u do do the cams let me know if the power difference way worth the price Smile

Have you got extractors? They cost me $335 fitted and made a fairly big difference. If i can make it id love to do a dyno run and see what my car makes. Let me know the details and ill see if i can come. Cams are around 300 to get ground i think, so im hopefully going to get them done next month sometime, ill let you know how they go anyway Smile
thanx heaps,
chris

yeah 2inch from the headers all the way back. have u got a straight-though "hi-flow" muffler? that make a difference 2.

tell me how the cams go. i'd be interested to know how much difference they make.... how much all up 2 rip apart the block and machine them??

i was thinkin of an APEXI 2 fule management system $400 or so and maybe a new air flow sensor...
