Are you able to "reserve" a set of plates?? I notice that they have just bought in coloured plates and want to set aside a set for when I have the money. Is this the same as storage?

When I traded my car for another car, i kept my personalised plates in storage for way over a month, cos i was too lazy to go get them.

And it cost me zilch, nada, salada, nothing. Very Happy

Coloured plates anyone??
http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/numberplate s/numberplate_styles.html

Plate Prices:
http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/numberplate s/pricelist.html

To create your own and order one now to save $$$ then go here and click on create a plate.
http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/myPlates/index.jsp

The coloured plates are $50 + $70per annum for normal and $50 + $130 a year for personalised content, BUT, before 15th November the coloured personised will be the same as standard coloured.($50+$70/y) which is a worthy saving so get them ordered and stored now! I'm glad my car adopts a black on white theme Very Happy

After a long engine refit then blue slip, I recently had to put the black and yellows on my car while I waited 2 weeks for my black/white personalised plates to be made. $32 over the counter for the black/yello then $192 for a one off (no annual fee) for the personised black on whites.
