Anyone know why the gold sprinters have a "camel" coloured engine bay? It has me stumped....

Is that true? I always thought that my car had a respray or something due to the different colour of the engine bay vs. the paint on the outside ...
Still brown on the inside it is.

Well I was asking a more "is it true" too.
I have seen one in person and 3 pics of "original" gold sprinters,and they all have brownish engine bays? Like I said I was stumped... Semmed more work to change colour paint for an engine bay on a production line.
Maybe alot of people just chose gold over this brown as the brown was an easy base coat.......hmmmm

And for some bizzare reason, panda Levin's attract the asian blokes instead? I refer to an incident when coming out of the movies to find a crowd of asian guys eyeing the panda in the car park.
