18r valves Sat, 13 July 2002 13:30 Go to next message
am after some valves out of an 18r.

36mm exhaust.

43mm inlet.

am just plying with sizing so even just one of each would be fine.

if youve got 6 new of each, even better!!

cheers

hehehe...

but ive gotta drive to canberra to get it yeah Shocked

dont suppose you could simply rip the valves out of the head and send them to me could you phil? Smile

also, how much you want for that 5m flywheel and ecu?

hehehe...you'd love to see that 5m at the moment: completely disassembled on the workshop floor Rolling

pity though, i cant use practically any of it. its been bored too much, and the bottom end bearings were all wayyyy dead and deeply scored the crank. OH, might have a reason for you as to why it kept doing the head in: the water pump has MAJOR casting faults making the pump impellar virtually useless. Sad

cheers

dave, please dont go to any hassle. use your free time wisely! (ie not pulling a head of an 18rc)

if it comes to it, i too can find a wreckers and go pull a head apart. im just lazy and if someone has got some *just lying there* well, it'd be a crime not to take them.

if, on the otherhad you have a deep seeded desire to flee the house and bury ones self in a car at the wreckers, who am i to stop you? but please, dont spend too much of my money?! Rolling

hell, i dont even know what valves cost, but if theyre going to be more than say $20 dont bother.

(or am i being unreasonable)

cheers
