Hey guys,
It is time for me to get an engine convertion for my sprinter. It still has a 4ac engine and looking to place a simple 4age 16v into it for better performance also the reliability and the I can start using unleade petrol. But how much would I be looking at for this convertion? Like including sourcing the engine installing and wiring it all up. Note that all work is to be done by a mechanic and not myself as I NFI.

Just the cost of the engine is pretty cheap, but wont be the main cost of the project. Bear in mind the computer if you dont get stock management, or redoing the loom to fit a sprinter even if you get all electrics.
Then there's the change to EFI, and all the little bolts and bits of hose and pipe that chew up the pocket-money.
Sit down and do the sums properly before you start. There should be plenty of info around here.
