icon9.gif  MA70 rear hub removal? Fri, 12 September 2003 10:28 Go to next message
Ok whats the bloody secret to removing the MA70 rear hubs?

After applying about 1 billion pounds of pressure to the nut on the drive shaft, the shaft is now off. I also forked out some dollars on an 80kg sledge hammer and after some effort and nearly dislocating my shoulder the rotor is off. I thought after all this crap the hard stuff was over but noooo of course not Evil or Very Mad

But anyway, whats trick?

Laughing Man I would of never guessed that it would be so difficult to pull them apart Confused
Although the set I have here have probably been sitting around for a while and the integral handbrake shoes were rusted to the inside of the rotor which didn't help.

But I'm getting there, slowly but surely Rolling Eyes
