Ok whats the bloody secret to removing the MA70 rear hubs?
After applying about 1 billion pounds of pressure to the nut on the drive shaft, the shaft is now off. I also forked out some dollars on an 80kg sledge hammer and after some effort and nearly dislocating my shoulder the rotor is off. I thought after all this crap the hard stuff was over but noooo of course not
Let someone else do it! with a decent shop press its not too hard
And sorry guys i have been VERY slack with the caliper brackets just been flat out busy or have not had access to a postscript printer when i have had some time!
And guess what job i have todo on the MA70 next week..yes you guessed it Rear wheel barings! all the same pulling apart fun! with the added stress of not fucking it up!
Man I would of never guessed that it would be so difficult to pull them apart
Although the set I have here have probably been sitting around for a while and the integral handbrake shoes were rusted to the inside of the rotor which didn't help.
