18r-c to 18r-g Conversion! Fri, 12 September 2003 10:59 Go to next message
Hey, i just posting this because im curious...
Ive heard that the same wiring harness is used for the 18rc and the r-g...(Natually Aspirated) is this correct?
And is the w50 gearbox in my Ra40 ok to work with the 18r-g?
Also any other information on this conversion would be helpful
I need to know everything that is required for the conversion.
Im pretty sure its straight forward
but who knowS? you guys are the smart ones?!!?!?!

yep, you can use the 18rc wiring, and the 18rg will bolt up to the existing bellhousing on the w50 too.

you will need to do something about the throttle setup, as the carbies are on the opposite side compared with the 18rc.
