this question comes up about every few months, try searching the forums for people asking about converting corollas into 4WD and also camrys into 4WD.

bunny, i sorta looked into it but it was gunna be extrodinary costs involved and it woulda been all custom. seriously, u would be better off getting the GT4. The 162 wouldn't have all the channels n stuff for the diff, drive shaft etc. it would be a prick of a job and prolly wouldn't be much better off. And if u were making it strictly RWD, then u would need a big hammer to bash a transmission tunnel.
You can get 165 gt4's for like $8000-$10,000 now i think and 185 gt4's for like $15,000
much better than spending $20,000 all up on a custom 162/rwd/4wd setup imo.
