here's some details of the car:
20v blacktop 4age its got abt 102,000kms on the clock
2.5" extractors, hi flow cat (which i think is stuffed!), 2.5" exhaust leading to the tanabe muffler.
its got ram tubes inside the stock plenum replacing the rubber stocks, i am gettin a CAI made up asap much similar to that in the article written on here somewhere and am relocatin the pod into the bumper
the rims are 17*7 with 205/40 falken rubber all round
suspension gear is munroe gt's all round (the rears are in need of replacement) and what i am told are kg/mm super SUPER low springs all round. i am gonna get some kyb's and kings soon too. also i am gettin a whiteline rear swaybar and reaplace the bushes.
stereo is being worked on too.. atm its just a jvc deck and 12 stacker, front pioneer 4" coax's, kicker 7*10's, the amps are a jaycar 2*100 and 2*150, the subby is a jl audio 12w3 in a dodgy sealed box.. looks poxy!
all the work will be my summer projects tho as uni is too bus atm unfortunatley..

the stickers and the engine were on the car when i bought it. the paint has been freshened up (so the previous owner told me) with a re-spray in original red..
still 6700 for a 20v b/t sx isnt too shabby!

Dude thats a very nice rolla
I envie u as i got and RV seca i love ur dash i want one for mine. sorry to say but only thing i dont like is that the bonnet is black on red if that was all black whole car it would be so sweet. (i just hate red) but i reckon it would look nicer in real life. congrates on a great buy there a good engine.
tell me more about ur CAI that ur getting made up how du they work do they improve the power buy much (dont no much about them).

there is a tech article on the twincam16.org site where u can re-locate a pod filter into a cavity in the bumper (near the battery)

ok:
the rear wing is stock plack item on the sx, however i think on the gti it was changed to a body colour item.
the diff between the black and silver visually is the black has a different intake setup. afm vs map.
silvertop:
u can see the computer and sensors etc after the airbox
blacktop:
has a different plenum and intake.. they are easily differntiated

Hey mate i need to no something do you no much about your engine. are you good with car's.
ok now i have just put the 20vblack in mine now they have an electric speedo on them while my AE93 is cable driven have you got any idea what urs is useing is it useing the cable in to the speedo if they are what have they done to the electric speedo cabel that goes to the ecu have they bypassed it some how or hooked it up could you please tell my cause my check light comes on and and tells me it wants to no the speed and i fear it is holding back on performance could you please tell my anything you no or anyone eles who reads this either pm me or pst in hear cheers. matt

To answer the speedo question.. You need the speed sensor that matches your speedo it will slot straight into the gearbox.
And about that blacktop.. those silver marks on it? it does look painted dude.. and those two pics one is running factory ecu (airflow meter) and the other is running aftermarket TPS on 20valve due to quad throttles.
the difference is 0.5 difference in compression
silver 10.5:1
black 11:1
160hp and 170hp respectivily. and the black top comes with a 6 speed.

SWWWWWWEEEEEET ride man, is urs the 6 speed or normal gearbox, also have u had it dyno'ed or ETA'd. whats the price difference between the black top and the silver top..do they both fit right into a normal rolla?..thanks
