what have i got?

ok i bought that totaled sprinter in the forsale section, and i wanna know how can i tell which motor and box i got? im lead to believe there are three gze's, the first from the mr2 is afm, and the other two are from corollas and are map sensored. how can i tell which one of the later i have?
also i have a supra box. to be honest i have never even closely looked at a supra box so how do i tell which supra box it is?

The supra box should look too big for motor, if you know what I mean. The T50 is pretty small, and compared to a supra box it's tiny.
Check out the box, & if it looks about as big as the motor, it'll be a supra box.

yeah im positive its a supra box, its huge! but how can i tell if its say w57 etc? and which model it came from? also what about telling the difference between the two gze's (map versions)? is it possible without taking them apart?

can noone help me out??? theres gotta be some visual external differance between the two map sensored motors and the diff supra boxes???

I read in another thread mrshin saying that the ae92 map gze had an oil pressure guage and the ae101 map gze had just an oil light. So the oil pressure sender should be the visual difference, only prob is its kind of hidden behind the bracket that holds the a/c, power steer etc.
Anyway both map engines are basically the same with the slight difference in power being attributed to the ae101 dual exhaust.

Assuming they're original, simply look at the date on the plug leads.
- AE92: 89/5 - 91/6
- AE101: 91/6 - 95/5
