Ok i think i heard something one day about some device like this, does any one know if such a thing exists? Something u put on the cable i'd imagine that may coil it a bit or something to take up some slack?
I just need to get rid of some slack in my cable after i changed the diff and rear brakes, and i need more than the standard adjuster on the cable!
Any other ideas if there is no such a device? Any help is appreciated!
Hi Dylo, a better option is to replace the single cable from the hand brake lever with a shorter cable. I think one from an AE82 Corolla will do the job.
I think there could be RTA hassles with cable shorteners. At a pinch you could use the cable shorteners, hard to explain without pictures, but they effectively hold a semi permanent kink in the cable. Not really an automotive accessory, but should be available at the local boat supplies.
