hey is your name stephen? i think we emailed each other a while back about suspension for our camrys. i was going to get new suspension but ended up getting a turbo instead (not installed yet). thats a nice burnout, is your car auto or manual? also those rims look good (i got same colour, and year, actually).

yeah turbo for the camry. i remember i was asking you about suspension, and i was saving to get some (as mine is really shot), but the i saw the turbo for sale and i thought, bugger it, i'll get a turbo instead. go to: http://www.qnet.com/~bgriffey/ then the turbo project link. it generally explains how to do it, though i have a ct26 turbo cause it bolts stright onto the manifold. also on toyotanation do a search, as there is heaps of info on doing it, especially by 88LE, who had done it to his Gen 2 and is very knowledgable.
that link for the supercharged camry in queensland has shut down i noticed, i wonder if they are still in business?

so far i got the turbo, manifold, and my intercooler should be here tomorrow or day after in the post. its small, 40x15cm, but should do for 7-8 psi. i'm hoping to have the turbo in near the end of the year, i still need like another $2000 i reckon to get the rest of the parts and engineered (perhaps more?). unfortunately my car is auto, but i'm planning a manual tranny swap once the auto blows (cause it will ), but hopefully i'll have enough use of it till i can save up another $2000 to do a swap.
that would look cool a camry cruise, especially our two cars as there the same colour. i've got a mate (X DS X on toyotanation)who has a Gen 4 with rims and stuff, but i've only ever rarely seen other done up camrys around.
