Has anybody ever used a pod filter on the V6 Vienta Camry's ??
I'm interested in getting one but not sure if they affect the car at all and if they are worth it.
Are you able to fit one ??
Does the car use a MAP sensor or Air Flow MEter ??
Are adaptors available ??
What brand would you recommend ??

If you want to make your engine louder, yes they are worth it. If you are chasing worthwhile performance gains, no they are not worth it. You will find that the factory filter and airbox are just as good or (more likely) better than any home-installed pod filter.

Thanks for the reply.
Yeah, just after some noise.
Just want to know if they are easy to fit on this car and if they will stuff anything up.
Some cars ie the V6 Magna, can only use a specific filter and adaptor.
I want to know if i can just use any pod filter or it has to be a specific one ???

yeh i have one on mine, its fine. i did notice slight gains tho, nothing spectacular. the noise isnt that loud either if you compare it to other cars. but i reckon its worth it for sure.
