Just curious, don't want to really change the engine, but after a bit more oomph out of the old girl. Wondering how well an SC14 would go on it? Feel free to tell me its a waste of time, don't bother n all that, was just a thought.

Yep, pretty much a waste of time. Smile For starters the SC14 is too small for a 2.8 litre engine, and the 5M-E is good at blowing headgaskets once you put a bit of boost into them anyway. You're better off saving your money towards a 7M/1JZ conversion.

thanks for the snappy reply Norbie. Yeah the 5ME is a bit of a shitbox anyhow, better off getting somthing with some decent balls from the word go.
