that would solve alot of probs. my left one is stuffed and it is really hard to find a straight one without any rust. But fiberglass won't rust! how much for both?

If I go well with the 22 guards I will do a mould for the 23 guards aswell!
I havent really worked out what it will cost per guard as yet, probably wont be able to work this out untill a set is completed!
But for example I have to get 2 original guards taken back to bare metal, then the lightest possible amount of filler applied and then a very light coat of paint.
Once that is done I need to prep the guards with wax and then make the mould.
Then I can make the prototypes.
So work that out What are people willing to pay?

I may be interested in a set of guards! But not sure what they're worth!
While we are on the topic of new parts for TA22's.
A few months ago i had a panel beater give me a quote on new sills for my celica he wanted $350 per side which wasnt really too expensive, but all the same i never bothered. But now that i'm working in a different panel shop, i've be up with a fitter and turner who said he has the equipment to make these sills. So i thought i would ask around to see who else would be interested in new sills for their TA22?
Not sure on exact cost yet but i think it'll be $150-$250 for a set maybe but like i said i'm not sure till he has made a set! How does this sound? Too expensive compared to what other people have had done?

Shane I want a set of the guards for sure. How can we get this moving? Do you want some backing?? Also, bonnet and boot. There will be a great market for them. Suppose just need to get some more people definitley interested with a deposit and could get the ball rolling. Let me know mate. I know a couple of people who will also fork out.

The bonnets will come much later because its freaking hard to please the engineers with designs
Unless you just mean the skins?

Depends on what people are willing to pay! I can use cheap fiberglass or expensive fiberglass! The expensive fiberglass will result in stronger lighter guards!
