Are the camshafts for all the AE92 4AGE's the same?

Or do i have to do a big hunt to find some performance cams for my 1989 toyota corolla fx-gt (AE92 100kw)

all factory 100kw 4age's run 232 duration cams. the ae86 4age (and supposedly late aw11) run 240 duration cams - are 0.1mm greater in lift. suppoesly good for another 5kw though....
(i have a set i'm putting in a rebuilt/ported head that will find its way onto my ae93 when i get boored and have the time)

budz--> Big hunt to find cams? Nah...they're very easily available. Anything from std replacements up to huge lift, massive duration ones. Most of the cams on the AE92/93s are the same (4AGEs), but I have seen some with the earlier model (AE86) cams on them. A good upgrade is to use a camshaft of around 260 degree duration, and about 8.4mm of lift. This will enable you to still use your std computer. Pretty decent gains for just a camshaft change too. Around 15-20% increases are quite common.

Cheers.

Speaking of cams?

Where do you find cams for the 4AGE in Australia? I'm in Melbourne, but so far have only managed to find stuff from O/s on the 'net.

Anyone?
