Need a part number for a 4age blue top ae86

Hi all
Anyone know the original alternator (part number ?) on a 4age blue top. The charge on my battery at the moment is 15.20 fluctuates, technician said the altnernator is a different one. The charge should only be like 14.0 ..

kristan, sounds like the internal regualtor is shot. Give the alternator to a competent auto electrician, and he'll sort it out for you. You don't have to replace the unit....

Hey there, have u fixed the problem?? do u still need the p/number, if so let me know, i have one siting on the spare engine i have sititng outside
Also, check the alternator regulator, its common for them to play up, by memory they r exturnal ones, easy to change

Hi guys thnks for reply.
I took it to an autoelectrician, the alternator that was overcharging was meant for a 4ag but not the ae86, could be for a more modern engine ae101?, dont know. i now have a spare Alternator. hmmm i may sell it ...
