the last time i went (ages ago)
there was a DnB/breaks room mix....the main arena....and a chill room , and a house room or something like that
thats sweet now they have a dedicated DnB room
on my wages i cant afford it though

being a old regular of subbies.. there originally was only 4 rooms, when the entry was increased to $25 they added the 5th room.
although i haven't gone lately, but there are usually 5 rooms
- the terrace is usually house music, funky & deep house
- voodoo the main dance floor down stairs - hard house, anything hard.
- silver room.. the padded mental hospital looking on -
- beat-fix break beats
- cargo. DnB
but i think they have closed one of the rooms now, so there is only 4..
haven't been their in ages though..
mental note: must go to subbs soon..

ALthough if u are that way inclined the regular raving scene in sydney allows you to almost go all week!

sorry dude.
i realise the real ravers get this shits when u call that the raving scene, but the people who go to the hard house/hard trance clubs really hate it being called the clubbing scene because thats synonymous with places such as "NV", "Jacksons" and similar craptacular venues, with craptacular music.
I wouldn't mind heading out to one of these events one day.

On channel V peaktime just then they were interviewing people "why do you keep comming to sublime"
Not one person had pupils smaller than ten cent pieces.. half of them couldnt even keep their eyes open and two dudes could barely talk because their jaws were wobbling soo much...
and funnily enough, not one person said "its great here on drugs".. they all said the atmosphere.

I was there when they were filming that peaktime for channel v, my mate was on it and he was thrashed.

I'm there about once every 3 weeks. Usually have a few VRBs then drop a couple. Go hard in Voodoo for about 3-6 hours, sit up on the lounges near the top bar, go out and stare at the water and talk codshit and go back inside to dance in the sunrise. Might get VIP membership after ski season for next summer.
