how is it that i see all these engineered ke25/20's with 12a and 13b turbos,
when according to nsw rta its illegal?
i wanna 12at ke25, but i wud also prefer it to actually be legal.

old rego laws, or out of staters....
if find yourself a shitter that was engineered with a 12AT years ago (not sure if rego has to have been continuous), and restore it legally
luckily not all rego laws are retrospective...

that's true too, but you don't want to get into the Individually Constructed Vehicle category, which means you have to comply with ALL current ADR's...
while it is up to the individual engineer as to what is registerable, i think that the capacity limits / kg are pretty strict, unless you are doing an ICV....
dunno, i'll ask next time i go see one

i spoke to matt from mr enforcer engineering about the mrn4sa corolla and he confirmed that it is no longer possible with current laws. ah well
