Cusco 2-Way LSD Replacement

Well, I managed to destroy my diff already.
Was quite interesting when the rear wheels locked up at 80 k's an hour
Anyway, does anyone know if this particular diff can be rebuilt? I doubt it can be due the level of destruction I caused.
Tail shaft and input shaft are intact, however all the internals are a intereting mash of metal shavings.
Additonally, has anyone recently sourced one of these? I am having great difficulty finding a replacement.
Regards
Mark

It sounds like you probably broke the ring gear. Hopefully the rest of it is rebuildable.

or the bearing caps.... then letting the ring gear go
hope the LSD itself is ok... but its gonna need a FULL strip and clean down... being so much metal going through there cant be good

thats what happened when my diff let go...
had the hats rebuilt out of billet steel. wasnt too expensive either. for a brand new 4.1:1 crown wheel & pinion, plus the custom centre hats, plus fitting, cost me about $750. got it done at Diff Technics in Kogarah.

get pics of it all for us pls. im interested to see what let go.
whats your driving style like? clutch dumps etc etc?
what sort of clutch do you have?
I had a full face in my RX7 (not related i know i know) and hardly blew diffs... then fitted a puck and i was killing one every weekend... Pucks transmit so much shock in one go,
Ive just fitted my LSD and im scared of breaking it.. and i KNOW i will be driving it hard...

Ok, I'll load some pics up, they will be pretty shit quality, because only digital camera I have is my phone, but you'll get the idea
Yeah, I'm not gentle on the car, clutch kicks, flat shift occasionally. Anything to break traction. Seeing as I don't have boost, you need a sevre jolt to upset traction.
I have a full face clutch. It's not extreme, doesn't really need to be with only 100kw at the wheels.
Well, tomorrow I'll start, so. Lookout for pics

Well, I can't get my blue tooth adapter to work
Well there isn't much left. I'll try to get the pics up, but it's mainly a mash of metal, the input shaft is stripped..
