ma70 indicators suddenly not working!

Some help required please!
My (1986.5 ma70 Supra) indicators have suddenly stopped working. Hazards still work OK and indicators still flash for alarm etc, but whilst I was driving today I noticed the indicators are completely dead. They don't light up in the dash, and don't make the clicking noise either.
I've checked the fuses in the drivers side kick panel and under the dash and these appear fine.
Has anyone got an idea? Any auto-electric gurus out there?

Luke, I AM your father.
So what was the problem with the switch???
Just dirty terminals or something?
Brett.

It doesn't look like there was anything wrong with the switch.. I didn't take it out and check it, but it works perfectly now. I think it must have been a bit stuck/half-on or something as sometimes my knee knocks it on the dash. Very strange indeed...
The biggest pain is that I took all the fuses out to check them because I've lost my fuse box cover (drivers side kick panel) and didn't know which was which. .

Some questions you just shouldn't ask Allan..
No, it's because I'm a tall (6'5" and clumsy) bastard and if I get my timing wrong as I get into the car my knee ends up in the dash. Especially if I hit the handbrake with my knee and then swing it out of the way.
One of the main reasons I got the ma70 was for tilt and telescopically adjustable steering wheel!
