I JUST SOLD THE CAR!!!!
MR 20V is gone!
as of about 15 minutes ago, the new owner just drove it off up the street...
paid me $13,000 like i was asking too, no haggling or anything!
Im still in such a state of shock at the moment, i dont know what to feel... after 4 years of owning it, countless hours of work & nearly $35k, its gone.
gone.
...
holy shit.
...
gone.
it couldnt have come at a better time though, just as i'm buying my first home & getting married early next year. *tries to stay positive*
its only a car, but damn it if i'm not emotional right now...
*sigh*
just thought i'd share my self pity with you all.

I can feel your loss ... but look on the bright side - $13k in the pocket means a blank new canvas for you in terms of a car project ...
Those are the best buyers as well ... give me cash & no haggling etc.
So, is the new owner a down to earth guy or someone who'd drift & write-it off in the first nite of ownership?

he's assured me that he's not going to try drifting it in the street...
i dont want to see it wrapped around a tree.
i told him if he wants to try drifting, to learn on a racetrack, not on the street... but i guess time will tell.
im sure ill hear about it if he ever writes it off...

Glad you got what you wanted Hayden, sorry it had to go
dont worry dude, after the house comes the wedding and kids, in about 5-6yrs youll be able to afford another project again , if youre not forced to spend it on new furniture and curtains
good to hear its gone to someone in the club at least.... are you allowed to say who ?

Haydn. Don't know whether to be happy or sad for you.
I've come close to having to sell my car a couple of times, so I know a bit of what you're feeling.
Congrats on the house and the woman though!!
