I just changed my spark plugs this evening in my 1jz and after i took it for a spin to see how it went and seems to be miss firing. in second and third it just doesnt want to go. I put in NGK's BKR6E the ones that where in it before seemed alrite. since i just got the car i thought id change them so i know where i stand, it had in it
Denso 'PK20TR11' thats what was writen on the spark plugs. They have like two spark points on it. Can any one tell me what could be wrong.

That's odd... are you sure all of the plugs/coils are fitted correctly, cos when I got my exhaust done, my 1J misfired, then putting in a fresh set of BKR6E plugs cured the problem instantly.

Err... might sound dumb, but have the plugs been gapped right?

all sorted out now, it wasnt miss firing, mechanic said it wasnt and said to put back the other spark plugs coz there double pined. so i changed them all back and went for a spin and still the same thing reving but wasnt going. so i opend the hood while it was running and i can hear like a lot of air, like it was leaking and i looked around and i found a small hose was disconected, im guessing air sensor of some sort pluged it back and all back to normal. must have come undone when i was taking or puting back the top cover to get to the spark plugs. so im back to square one but at least i figured it out and its all alrite now. Razz thanks for ur time ppl ne way.
