Camry 3S-GE Conversion	Wed, 17 September 2003 13:11

Hey People, I know this has been done in the forums before but want updated info on actual people that have done the conversion, i have been to http://cust.idl.net.au/dana/doctak.htm he hasnt replied, but i want to know if anyone here has done the conversion in a sv21 camry and whats involved in the conversion. I know about the 3sgte but its an expensive conversion. THANX, any help is appreciated. [Report message to a moderator]

I have done that. I used engine and tranny from a ST162('88)driveshafts from SV21. The problem is the electrical part(but not so hard). [Updated on: Wed, 17 September 2003 18:42] [Report message to a moderator]

Hey guys, Thanx for the help, im just planning ahead il do the conversion soon just waiting till the engine dies, it has 357,000 ks at the moment. [[Ive sent doctakay an email email to [email]doctakay@yahoo.com..[/email] is that right]] I've read on dotakay's site " The only major modification was that the MR2's came with a rear mount motor so an electric power steering pump was needed, and a new engine mount." is that really all all was there more things wrong also with the engine mounts did you make custom ones.
