octane booster?

Is the shit anygood or does it hurt your engine?
I ONLY put BP ultimate in my car which is high octane stuff would it do anything putting octane booster in?
Or that NOS in a bottle?
someone told me to put sugar in and it will run sweet (jokes  )

if the engine is gunked up, some have cleaning agents that will clear this away and make the engine feel like the octane booster gave it more power, but in actual fact it wont. if the car isnt detonating with the fuel you are using then u dont need the booster.
but, of course u can use the stuff and then dial in some advance to the engine and have a bit of fun.

thanks dude, Im going to the drags on the weekend so im on a quest for a little more power, im going to get the timing & A/F ratio checked + dyno run so i'll see what it puts out.

Octane booster works exponentially as well. So for a fuel with a RON rating of 89 and you dump a plus 4 octane booster in you may well get a RON of 93 (probably a bit less). But if you have BP 100 etc then a plus 4 will probably do 0.stuff all
Hope that is kind of clear.........just get some elf race fuel and hold your breath!
