I am buying a stock ke70 for a daily driver this weekend. The car is a 4 speed manual and i think it it may rev a bit high on the highway. So i was thinking of changing to a higher ratio diff. Does anyone know what ratio a stock 82 ke70 diff is? and anything that is higher ratio that would fit without too much hassles?
thanks

In nz ke70 is 4.11 std we can put in starlet 83-84 type body shape ratios in which are 3.909 and 3.583 pity you dont have that option.5 speed would be easiest option 14% higher geared than what you have now.

i've got an 84 rolla with 5 speed...
it still revs high so maybe it's easier to fit new ratios...
mind you my rolla is only 1.3L
