MKII rear spoiler wingy thing Thu, 18 September 2003 10:50 Go to next message

I've search through various forums + the workshop Haynes manuel and cannot find the removal procedure... looks like the rear hatch glass needs to be removed first :S ???

There is another ma61 getting around northern suburbs and it worries me that everyone confuses it with mine Sad

Any opinions on removing the spoiler ? it might look a little 82'ish yeh ?

You don't need to remove the glass - the strut thing in the middle unscrews from inside, then you just unbolt it on either end and it lifts off.

Yeah, as has already been said. Undo the centre support first, then on the underside of the hatch there are four nuts to remove, two on each side, obviously Wink It will then lift straight off.
