Would it be possible to get a modded sticky here with people recommending panel shops in their area who do a good job for cheap for old skool cars? I'm willing to consider a last ditch effort to save my GT celica but it needs a complete bare metal stripdown, rustwork and at the very least some prepping and undercoating. Would anyone be able to recommend a panel shop in either Sydney or Newcastle or basically anywhere in NSW who do a good job on bare metal restorations and won't charge me $3k to do it? I don't want them to spray the car, just need rust repaired and the everything undercoated(and maybe some rustproofing)...

Or anyone who's done this sort of thing before have any advice/recommendations?

Yeah I know for a fact that the RA40 crowd definitely need car restorers and I'm assuming the ra23/28 etc crowd do too.

If any of you guys have mates that know their stuff and are interested in cash jobs etc let us know. Let's help each other out. Rust is evil, let's all band together and destroy it Evil or Very Mad . And then sit around a campfire singing Kumbaya Razz

You can try these guys.

I have never had any pannel work done by these guys. But they have helped me out with a couple of parts, and I noticed that they do smash repairs as well.

If you do get a quote from them let us know. I might want to get some rust repair done latter on as well.
