I'm not too sure what gearbox I have in my car atm.
It originally had a w55 to go with the 22r-e. But the last owner replaced it with a supra box.
I've narrowed it down to either a w57 or a w58.
Does anyone know how I can be sure which type it is? Or where I look to confirm it.

Steel sandwich plate = W58.
Alloy sandwich plate = not W58, probably W57.

handy hint: if the box has been painted or u cant tell by eye use a magnet on the sandwitch plates Cool

steel = stick
alloy = no stick
